SUPPORT OPRAINFALL BY TURNING OFF ADBLOCK

Ads support the website by covering server and domain costs. We're just a group of gamers here, like you, doing what we love to do: playing video games and bringing y'all niche goodness. So, if you like what we do and want to help us out, make an exception by turning off AdBlock for our website. In return, we promise to keep intrusive ads, such as pop-ups, off oprainfall. Thanks, everyone!

This week’s Nintendo Download is pretty light, but there are some great titles releasing this week. Atelier Sophie 2 is out on Friday, another classic Shmup DANGEROUS SEED is out now and Anime lovers can now download the Crunchyroll app on their Switch.

First up we have Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream. This is direct follow up to the original Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, and takes Sophie to a dream world where she is separated from her mentor Plachta. Sophie will have not only figure where Plachta is in this vast world, but way to escape it as well.

Arcade Archives is back with another great SHUMP in DANGEROUS SEED. This shooter was released by NAMCO in 1989. You pilot the “Moon Diver” fighter, which is made up of α-Ship, β-Ship, and γ-Ship, to fight off the mysterious aliens [codename: Danger Seed]. These ships can also combine and transform into an ultimate configuration in order to slay the alien menace!

Anime lovers got surprise this week as the Crunchyroll app can now be downloaded on the Switch for free. You can watch tons of anime for free if you are willing to deal with the ads, or bump up to premium membership for an ad free experience. Members can download an watch episodes of their favorites offline as well.

Here is a list of other titles hitting the eShop this week:

That will wrap up this week’s Nintendo Download. Hopefully next week will be a bit more stacked with releases.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.
