The final Nintendo Download of October is here with Halloween just around the corner!

Featured Games

We start off this week with Mario Party Superstars. It’s an “all-star blast of minigame mayhem!” Five boards from the Nintendo 64 Mario Party games have also returned. All game modes can be played online this time around, too! The game lands on Nintendo Switch tomorrow.

The free-to-start game, Pokémon Café ReMix, sees players recruiting Pokémon to help at the Café while wearing stylish uniforms. They each have their own Café Skill that you’ll need to utilize for solving puzzles. This is a revamp of the original Pokémon Café Mix. The developers have added more Pokémon to the game and refreshed the puzzles. The update just arrived today!

Next up, we have a card-based RPG with a world of swords, sorcery, and cards. In Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, players set out to deal with a dragon that has just reawakened. The game presents itself like a tabletop RPG complete with the narration of a gamemaster. This game also just launched today!

Arriving on November 2nd, is the charming, hand-drawn beat ’em up, Tunche. The game is also infused with roguelike elements, witchcraft, and co-op. Play as one of five characters as you utilize their unique skills against epic bosses. Along the way, you’ll uncover the secrets of the jungle as well.

FATAL FRAME: Maiden of Black Water launched on Nintendo Switch earlier today. Its launch celebrates the 20th anniversary of the series. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the main game along with some bonus content. Mt. Hikami was once a very spiritual place, home to a religion that worshipped water as a deity. It is also said that it was the site of some mysterious and even gruesome phenomena.

The zombie-shooter, World War Z, will unleash the hordes on Nintendo Switch on November 2nd. Take on the undead in this third-person shooter that is inspired by the Paramount Pictures film of the same name. Can you survive the impending extinction of humanity?

DLC

Don’t forget that the 2nd wave of DLC arrives for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity tomorrow, October 29th. Purah and Robby will join the battle along with one other new fighter! They will defend the land of Hyrule with their arsenal of ancient technology. The new story elements will reveal more about the four Champions, and the mysterious Guardian. Are you ready to step into the fires of war and fight for Hyrule once more?

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
