Dear Mom | CG

It’s a wonderful time to be a fan of visuals, a new one in Dear Mom is coming soon. You may not know a lot about this one, and that’s okay it’s why I’m writing this. This is a slice-of-life/simulation visual novel passion project from Mangoku418. It features some of the more vibrant art I’ve seen from English visual novels. It also features some real emotional rollercoaster type story involving grief and what comes after. I became acquainted with the head of the project through LoveVN, and it’s been phenomenal to watch their progress from afar. In any case, if this type of story sounds to your liking a Kickstarter is in fact coming. Mark your calendars for September 14th, and show up and show support! Want to try it, play the demo on Steam!

So what is Dear Mom – My Letter to You – about?

This is a journey of loss, acceptance, and the bonds made along the way. Follow the emotional story of Ayame Kawasaki, who disappears from the public eye following her mother’s suicide. One year later, she’s ready to start her life again. It’s up to Ayame to build and maintain her relationships, new and old, while coming to terms with the reality of her mother’s death.

Want to know more about Dear Mom? Follow their development over here! Do you want to perhaps find more visual novels like this one? Please consider joining the LoveVN Discord server for several wholesome interactions between fans and developers. Make sure to play the Dear Mom demo and let the developers know that Operation Rainfall sent you.
