STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town ($49.99) is coming out on March 23rd. Your grandfather and his friends established a peaceful community called Olive Town. Now it’s time for you to continue the legacy he left behind. Build relationships with others in town, farm crops and raise animals. Improve the town along the way by collecting materials for requests. The future of this community is in your hands.

Launching on March 23rd, Overcooked! All You Can Eat ($39.99) includes all content from Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2. The game also features new content to chew on, improved graphics, and online multiplayer for the first time in the series. The new content includes new levels and chefs.

Five-part episodic series, Tales from the Borderlands ($24.99), is also launching on March 23rd. It takes place after the events of Borderlands 2 but before those of Borderlands 3. The choice driven, narrative adventure starts out as a quest of greed, but the main characters soon find themselves on a different path. Your choices have consequences, so make them wisely. This release includes all five episodes.

DLC

In celebration of its first anniversary, a free new update has just dropped for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It adds support for the Sanrio amiibo cards that are being released in the west for the first time. Furthermore, it adds a 1st Anniversary Cake item, various new seasonal items, and some updates for your NookPhone. You can find out more about it from our coverage in this article.

Current Sales

There are a couple of new sales in this week’s Nintendo Download. The Square Enix Spring Sale we looked at last week is still ongoing until March 24th at 8:59am PT.

This offer nets you a $20 retailer gift card when you purchase select Switch Lite systems. The second offer is entirely unrelated. When you buy Famicom Detective Club™: The Girl Who Stands Behind, a discount will be applied to the second game (Famicom Detective Club™: The Missing Heir) during checkout.

We also have two major sales today. The first one is the Capcom Publisher Sale, which runs until March 31st at 11:59am PT. In addition to a number of switch games, including the highlights listed below, it also includes some 3DS games from franchises like Mega Man and Monster Hunter.

We also have the Ubisoft Spring Savings Publisher Sale, which ends on March 31st at 11:59pm PT. This one includes 23 Nintendo Switch games. Here are some of the highlights:

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
