It’s finally time to discuss the latest release from Toffer Team, and that’s Kiara And My Ara Ara Adventure. Toffer Team is on an upwards trend when it comes to the quality of their products. To clarify, you only need to look at the work he’s put into his last two titles. The ever-so wonderful Himeko Maid and the lustful fantasy story Hikari Love Potion are both tremendous in their own way. There’s a special kind of magic in these lewd adventures that’s perfect for lewd fanatics. They provide a simplistic yet bountiful story that leads into a wonderful series of sexual events. The best part about it is the pricing. The feeling of picking up a Toffer Team game is equivalent to going to a candy shop when I was younger. However, there’s a new product in town. One question remains: How does it hold up?

The game is on the short side so I’ll be refraining from giving a lot of specifics. However, if you played the Hikari series from Toffer, it has an incredibly similar start. The hands of fate deem you worthy of an adventure where your seed is the difference maker. I always found this trope to be more humorous than annoying. It’s like I’m being a really lewd superhero. Following the theatrics, you meet Kiara. She’s one hell of a woman and doesn’t waste any time making a good first impression. To clarify, I’m talking about how you literally meet her and fall into a scene of the lewd variety. This is, I believe, the fastest that we’ve gotten intimate with a girl from a lewd adventure, and it caught me by surprise. Did I find myself complaining about it? Absolutely not. Now let’s get to know her properly.

Kiara introduces herself as your new self-appointed guardian and explains the situation. In essence, we’re talking about a land devastated by a long war between factions. Furthermore, she explains how your seed is an exceptionally rare resource. This gives me flashbacks to the scenes found in Love Potion with a few minor differences. Regardless, I look forward to my adventure with my very horny guardian. Let’s make the proper preparations and explore the world. It’s at this moment where I find out that reality has different plans. In fact, before we can learn anything else about the new world around us, it’s time to “learn” more about Kiara. A couple romantic endeavors follow and you even discover a neat power that you can play around with. Kiara is actually quite the intriguing character to hang out with! Unfortunately, there’s a sad part about all of it.

The more you have fun with Kiara, the less story you actually see. Kiara is an incredibly loveable character, but when I got into my lewd hero outfit, I didn’t expect many traditional activities to follow. I spoke of preparations earlier, and the only thing that was done was go clothes shopping to fuel Kiara’s lewd factor. There is no journey, there is only sex and while I should be ecstatic to have someone like Kiara, I find myself more disappointed than anything. In fact, I can’t even be super happy about my romance with Kiara because it ramps up so fast that the ending leaves me in complete disbelief. When I have to ask myself what’s going on in a lewd adventure, it’s not a good sign. There are few tidbits near the end that give me hope for the title’s future. However, it’s not a lot.

There’s a lot to unravel here about my distaste for Kiara And My Ara Ara Adventure. Not a lot of people are going to admit that they buy these games for the story. I do. When Kiara is informing the player about what’s going on out there and how I’m going to attract many dangerous foes, I feel it. It’s like that thrill that I got in Love Potion, where we have to be cautious of our surroundings and who we speak to. Especially when everyone is under the control of the queen. Or how we’re going to recruit the special allies in Clover Rescue if we want to have any chance of setting things right. Don’t get me wrong, the coitus that I receive from each of these damsels across both games is unforgettable. However, I have a firm belief that the story makes the sex way better.

Other things for your consideration should include the character’s backstory. The best example for this is in, you guessed it, Hikari Love Potion. Each girl you found in that fantasy world has their own story and their own reasons for fighting. You learn about their struggles and how this evil empress practically ruined their lives. Joining you is not entirely a decision that’s made to quell their sexual urges, but to give them peace of mind as you slowly become this hero of justice that was in the prophecy at the very start of the game. With this lewd adventure, I feel like I got none of that. I just had more, and more fun with Kiara. Something that’s supposed to invoke lustful feelings is suddenly more empty than ever.

It feels like the story is heavily reliant on the player liking Kiara enough to proceed. Luckily for this developer, character design and development is something they’ve done flawlessly previously. However, when it’s the sole writing aspect of the entire game, it’s going to fall flat eventually. The only thing that really pushes the player to continue reading is how the coitus scenes are written. Carefully maneuvering from fellatio to other wonderful acts of pleasure until you reach the end and you finally get to put it in her. This sexual development between the characters is fantastic. It keeps players on edge, literally, and empowers them to keep reading it. If you can drag out the horny feeling of your readings and entice them to keep reading, I believe you’re doing a great job there.

Now for all the negatives I give towards the story, it does have its positives. Mainly Kiara, as Toffer continues to prove himself as a character master. Kiara has quickly ascended to be Toffer’s most popular character to date and might even lead to his best selling title yet despite obvious flaws. She’s got bountiful assets, great humor, and an exceptional charmer. When the sequel does come out, it’ll be something a lot of people will look forward to. On the other hand, you have nice UI elements that are easy on the eyes, and that nice standard Toffer soundtrack returns with a few new tracks to really capture the scenery of the new world. Just give me more story.

For what it’s worth, Kiara And My Ara Ara Adventure provides players with a great sexual escapade with one of the most beautiful heroines to date. For all the negatives it may have, it’s still a good lewd adventure. The game is $2.99 for crying out loud. The two hours I spent with Kiara, while lacking in some major areas, at the end of the day were more bountiful than I thought. I’m looking forward to seeing the next chapter of this story because I believe it’s going to fill in all the gaps as we fill hers.
