Mandragora Games and Klabater are excited to announce the launch of isometric survival-horror game, SKYHILL: Black Mist. The title is a follow-up of the original SKYHILL game from 2015, where players had to escape a demon-controlled hotel. That game took a simple idea and wrapped it with a 2D-comic-book art style. This proved a winning combination, as the game became an indie bestseller with 200,000 copies sold for the PC. The new game, SKYHILL: Black Mist, is currently enjoying a 10% launch discount that lets you get the game for $17.99 instead of its normal price of $19.99. You can find it on Steam. Here is the launch trailer:

SKYHILL: Black Mist combines classic horror with survival games while staying largely true to the original game. The gameplay is in a 3D, isometric view this time. Furthermore, game mechanics have been improved over the original by adding things like new stealth elements, improved crafting system, and the ability to re-explore previously visited areas. In doing so, you can discover information and items that you couldn’t reach before, like you would in a metroidvania-style game. Here is the much longer gameplay trailer:

In SKYHILL: Black Mist, players wake up in their apartment, which is in a huge residential complex created by Skyhill Inc. This shady corporation unfortunately controls the whole city. You are an employee who just received your apartment keys and moved in. Rather than peacefully starting a new chapter in your life, crap hits the fan quickly when your daughter is kidnapped, as the entire building is overrun by some sort of dark monsters and cultists! You’ll have to avoid these hostile foes and a dark mist that turns humans into horrible creatures upon exposure, while trying to save your daughter and survive!

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
