Ads support the website by covering server and domain costs. We're just a group of gamers here, like you, doing what we love to do: playing video games and bringing y'all niche goodness. So, if you like what we do and want to help us out, make an exception by turning off AdBlock for our website. In return, we promise to keep intrusive ads, such as pop-ups, off oprainfall. Thanks, everyone!

It sure doesn’t seem like 8 years since we started the oprainfall website, but time seems to get away from us all. I joined the campaign just after if moved off the IGN forums and was soon a member plugging away at our cause to get three amazing Wii games brought to our shores. As the campaign was winding down we decided that we would use the wonderful community we’d built to spread the word about other niche games, and the rest is history.

I started here as a communications member, became the Reporting Manager and later by some insanity ended up Co-Owning the site. I’ve learned many things during my time here. The biggest is my writing skills have improved greatly. I never had any aspirations to be a writer or game reviewer when I started here, but I’ve had a lot of help from Josh and others that have come and gone over the years. Now I’ve written hundreds of reviews and I’m very thankful I have been given an opportunity to spread the joy of things I love over these many years.

We’ve branched out into many other areas over the years, and seen a lot of change in this industry. There is one that has not changed however, we are still just a group of gamers giving love to lesser known titles in the industry that we love. That is one thing that will never change.

Here’s to many more wonderful years of Niche gaming goodness!

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.
