Wizard of Legend | Complete Soundtrack

Scarlet Moon Records is excited to announce the launch of two new albums. They are the Wizard of Legend: Complete Soundtrack composed by Dale North, and Piano Collections: Wizard of Legend performed by AYAKI. They are also celebrating yesterday’s launch of the Thundering Keep DLC. The complete soundtrack features all the music fans are familiar with, as well as the previously unreleased Sky Palace DLC trailer music, and the Thundering Keep music. You can find this album on Bandcamp. Composer Dale North had this to say about the creation of the album:

“While I had a good feeling early on, I didn’t really know that the music I was writing would be for a smash hit videogame! So it has been a pleasure to be able to continue to contribute music to WIZARD OF LEGEND over the past year since the initial launch and now I’m just as thrilled to be able to share them in a complete album. Just as the new dungeons and bosses have expanded the game’s world, I hope these new pieces add more depth and enjoyment to players and listeners alike.”

Wizard of Legend | Piano Collections

The Piano Collections: Wizard of Legend album includes 11 brand new pieces performed on piano by AYAKI, who is also known for Etrian OdysseyPersonaQ, and Prescription for Sleep: Game Music Lullabies. These pieces are infused with jazz, and also include an original theme called “Realizing One’s Potential”, which was also created by AYAKI. This special track was inspired by the Chaos Trials, where a wizard must prove themselves. As with the first album, this one is also available on Bandcamp. Dale North also commented on this album:

“AYAKI’s arrangements and performances of the WIZARD OF LEGEND soundtrack feel like a deep dive into the spirit of what I was going for when I originally composed it. These powerful, interpretive pieces have a way of transporting you and I feel like anyone that has spent any time in the dungeons will feel that. It’s rare to feel so heard and understood as a music maker anyway, but when it’s coming from such a talented and accomplished musician it makes this so much more special.”

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in my early 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES and SNES. He loves Nintendo but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks or bike rides, and loves animals.

Michael is also a computer programmer. This started with a toy he got as a kid called PreComputer 1000 that was made by V-Tech. It had a simple programming mode which is what started him down the road of being a programmer! Michael can program in BASIC, Visual Basic, C++, C#, and is familiar with Java and Lua Script.

Putting programming and gaming together, Michael became a hobbyist game developer which may give him some good insights on game development! Most recently, he has been playing with the free version of the Unity engine (a powerful and easy-to-use game engine).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
