Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age | Square-Enix

Switch and Xbox One owners rejoice – Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is now available on your platform of choice.

Players are invited to return to Ivalice in this critically-acclaimed installment with a bevy of enhancements, including remastered graphics. The Zodiac Age also includes the option to toggle between a classic and modern soundtrack, as well as a trial mode.

Other enhancements include:

  • The ability to reset the License Board by speaking with Montblanc at Clan Centurio in Rabanastre, allowing players to change party members’ jobs.
  • More Gambit sets to additional party customization. Players can now create three unique sets to switch between for different situations, such as map exploration and boss fights.
  • New Game+ that allows players to restart the game at level 90 and carry over limited items, including weapons, magic and gil.
  • The Xbox One version also supports 60 fps.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is a re-worked version of Final Fantasy XII, originally released for the PlayStation 3. The game returns players to the world of Ivalice (the setting of both Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy Tactics: Advance), where the Kingdom of Dalmasca is caught between warring empires Archadia and Rozarria. A tale of intrigue, politics and magic, players begin this epic tale as street urchin Vaan, only to be caught up in world-changing events as Dalmasca’s Princess Ashe fights to save her kingdom.

Final Fantasy XII has sold 6 million copies worldwide to date.

The Zodiac Age is available in both physical editions and as a digital release on the Nintendo eShop and Xbox stores.
