Feather is a ambient flying game where the player takes control of a bird as it flies through a stylized wilderness filled with vast forests, rivers, and mountains. It was brought to us by an independent indie developer called Samurai Punk out of Melbourne Australia, who also brought us Screencheat back in 2014.
In their press release Samurai Punk promises a relaxing experience as you enjoy Feather‘s fluid flight controls and zone out to it’s chill soundtrack. No enemies or hazards. Just a large expansive world to explore. You can even join a flock of other players across both platforms with it’s cross play multiplayer.
So that’s a short and sweet look at this relaxing little indie title. Feather is available on both Nintendo Switch and PC for $9.99 USD, and for PC users you have more options than Just Steam: It’s also available on Humble Bundle, itchi.io, and Discord if you feel so inclined to pick it up there instead. You can also download a demo over at itchi.io if you would like to try before you buy.
