BanG Dream! | SANZIGEN Animation Studio

BanG Dream! heads to the big screen in Japan this September, according to the show’s Twitter account.

BanG Dream! FILM LIVE is produced by Sanzigen and distributed by Bushiroad. A third season will also premiere in January 2020. The second season, licensed by Sentai Filmworks, premiered Jan. 3, 2019, and airs on HIDIVE and Crunchyroll.

According to Anime News Network:

Koudai Kakimoto (Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko) directed the second series at SANZIGEN Animation Studio (the studio is replacing ISSEN and Xebec from the first season to produce the second and third anime seasons). Yuniko Ayana returned to handle series composition and the script. Kazuyuki Ueda (Kinmoza! Kiniro + Mosaic, Hinako Note) designed the characters for the anime based on Hitowa and Craft Egg’s original designs. Takuya Chanohara and Yuka Yamori were in charge of sub-character design. Atsushi Mimura served as CG supervisor.

The anime’s first season premiered in 2017 and aired on Anime Network Online and Crunchyroll.
