Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation | Key Visual

Idea Factory International is releasing Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation for PS4 and PC via Steam. In preparation for the game’s release, IFI is holding a  Date A Waifu 4 Laifu poll. Fans can vote for their favorite Date A Live girl, and the winning girl will be featured in the game’s limited edition on a hugging pillow. The big question in all of this was, will the PC version of the game be getting the limited edition? The PS4 version would most certainly get it, but the PC version was always in question. Thankfully, we now have the answer to that question, thanks to a question from Twitter user, Pikachuk. Pikachuk asked on one of their posts, “Will the pc version get a limited edition?” Idea Factory International didn’t waste time answering with a simple reply, “Yes! :)”

This is not the first time Idea Factory International has done a limited edition for one of their PC releases. They released a limited edition for their Steam release of Amnesia: Memories. That edition included a bunch of extra goodies and a Steam code for the full game.

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation | Kurumi Astral Dress

The first part of the Date A Waifu 4 Laifu poll is finished, and Kurumi Tokisaki overwhelmingly won with 47% of the vote on Twitter. A poll was also held on Facebook which she also won. A second poll is now ongoing in which fans can vote for which design Kurumi will have on the body pillow. Fans have a choice, and can vote between her school uniform and her Astral Dress. You can vote for the design on Idea Factory’s official Twitter and Facebook.

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation heads west for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam sometime in 2019.
