BanG Dream! 2nd Season | Visual

Sentai Filmworks has announced that they have acquired the distribution rights to BanG Dream! 2nd Season. They will distribute the show in the following areas: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Latin America, and Central America.

All of the members of Poppin’Party will return to reprise their roles in the 2nd season and Sanzigen will produce the new season. The voice cast of Poppin’Party is as follows:

  • Aimi as Kasumi Toyama
  • Ayasa Itou as Arisa Ichigaya
  • Ayaka Ohashi as Saya Yamabuki
  • Sae Otsuka as Tae Hanazono
  • Rimi Nishimoto as Rimi Ushigome

Sentai Filmworks will stream the new season on select digital outlets in Winter 2019. They will also release the 2nd season on home video at a later time.

BanG Dream! is a franchise created by Bushiroad. It has inspired a previous TV anime season produced by Issen and Xebec. The 1st season ran for 13 episodes and was also licensed for release in North America by Sentai Filmworks. The franchise has also inspired a rhythm game developed by Craft Egg titled, BanG Dream! Girls Band Party. It released in English for iOS and Android in April 2018.
