Fate/Requiem | Cover

Type-Moon has announced a new book for the Fate franchise titled, Fate/Requiem. The story takes place after the Holy Grail War and is the first volume of the new story. The book is set to launch at Comiket 95, this year’s winter Comic Market which takes place from December 29-31. The new story is penned by Meteo Hoshizora and illustrated by NOCO. Hoshizora is known for working on World Conquest Zvezda Plot and NOCO is known for being one of the main artists for the Atelier Mysterious series.

The story for the new book is as follows. (Translation via ANN)

“I am a reaper, whose job it is to kill Servants.”

In the distant past, there was a great war. When it ended, the world was at peace. In the new world, everyone possesses a “Holy Grail” that they can use to summon their personal Servant to enact their wishes. Only one girl, Erice Utsumi, does not possess that power. She meets a boy, the last Servant in the world to ever be summoned. But she does not yet know her destiny.
