Dead or Alive | Kasumi C2 ver. Refined

Good Smile Company has announced that the Dead or Alive Kasumi: C2 ver. figure would be getting an enhanced re-release in 2020. The figure was originally released in 2004 and features the main heroine of the Dead or Alive franchise, Kasumi, wearing one of her alternate outfits. Kasumi’s figure is remade using the latest technology and techniques which were not available in 2004. It features many details not seen in the original figure.

Good Smile Company describes the figure as follows:

Originally released in 2004, the scale figure that gave rise to the PVC figure boom, Kasumi: C2 ver., has been completely recreated using the latest techniques and technologies.

While maintaining the fine details of the original sculpt by Hiroki Katayama, the figure mold has been completely remade. Additionally, several new details only possible with technology available today have been added in, such as the cherry blossom pattern and pearl finish of her outfit, her slightly translucent tights and the detailed pattern on her wrist and shin guards. Her silky skin has been recreated to look clear and beautiful. Be sure to add her to your collection.
