Despite the final two fighters in the base game of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate being revealed today, the roster will continue to grow via a paid DLC Fighters Pass. Five fighters are promised post-launch through 2020, though none of them were revealed and currently have no specific release dates.

Each fighter will come in a bundle that includes a new stage and accompanying music. Each set can be purchased in its own set for $5.99 USD for those who don’t purchase the Fighters Pass. All the upcoming fighters will be all-new, and not Echoes of existing characters.

The Fighters Pass is available to pre-load starting today on the eShop, via the $85 USD deluxe bundle of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, or stand-alone on launch day for $24.99 USD. Purchasing the DLC pass will include a free Rex Mii Fighter outfit, based on Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
