Aksys games has announced that Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk is now available for the Nintendo 3DS handheld system. You can get the game both at retail and via the Nintendo 3DS eShop. This marks the first time in a decade that this popular adventure series has come to North America and Europe.
Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk includes five brand new cases that are being released outside of Japan for the very first time. In the case Ghost of the Dusk, the accidental death of a homeless man attracts the attention of detective Jake Hunter. He soon finds himself snooping in the shadow of a strange mansion. Things seem pretty normal at the scene, but of course not all is as it seems. Is it ever?
Jake does his best to get to the bottom of things, and with the help of an old friend, he’ll get there. But first, things unfortunately take a turn for the bizarre, when the mansion’s owner shows up with a new proposal.
According to the press release, the other cases Jake will tackle in the game are Legend of the Demon Princess, For Love, Forget Me Not, and Four Seasons. Additionally, there is also a special comic episode called Jake Hunter Unleashed! School Festival Locked Office Case.
As you progress through the game, you can find hidden passwords in the game world. These can unlock bonus features, side stories, and more. You’ll need to question suspects, search crime scenes, and hone your keen senses to catch important inconsistencies that might just break the case wide open! Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk is rated T for Teen by the ESRB.
