A special limited edition Nintendo Switch will be released to coincide with the launch of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee!. Launching on November 16th, Nintendo will release a special bundle that includes either Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Let’s Go, Eevee!, a Pokéball Plus controller, and a Switch system that has a themed dock, a Switch with unique Pikachu and Eevee decals on its backside, and Eevee and Pikachu-colored Joy-Cons.

Limited edition versions of the Nintendo Switch itself have been rare to this point, with the only major variation being a Japan-only Monster Hunter XX system from last year. This Pokémon: Let’s Go bundle has the side effect of lending credence to a previously rumored Switch bundle themed after Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with thematic dock and Joy-Cons in tow. That bundle, shown only for Europe thus far, has yet to be officially announced.

Each Switch bundle with either version of Pokémon: Let’s Go will retail in North America, Europe, and Japan for the regional equivalents of $400 USD, making it the most expensive Switch bundle to date. The Japanese bundles will also include a 90-day free trial for the Nintendo Switch Online service, a requirement to trade and battle online.
