SEGA has opened up digital pre-orders for Valkyria Chronicles 4. Digital pre-orders are open for PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC. Those who pre-order the game digitally will receive the ‘A Captainless Squad’ add-on mission. The mission becomes available after reaching Chapter 10 in the main story. ‘A Captainless Squad’ will be available immediately to those who digitally pre-order and will also be available as a standalone add-on for $4.99 in late October.

Those who pre-order from the PlayStation Store will also receive an exclusive theme and avatar set. You can check out some previews of those bonuses below.

A demo for Valkyria Chronicles 4 is also available now. The demo is available to download from the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Nintendo Switch eShop. Players will be able to play through the prologue and first two chapters of the game. There will also be an exclusive mission made especially for the demo. Save data from the demo can be transferred to the full game.

The following elements carry over:

  • Items obtained
  • Class levels
  • Earned experience
  • Total currency

Additionally, those who carry their save data over will receive an exclusive accessory for use in the full game.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is set to release on September 25, 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. You can reach the official website HERE.
