Nintendo promised new content for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a newly available update adds in content based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Version 1.6.0 adds in the racer Link in his Champion’s Tunic and the kart parts Master Cycle Zero, Ancient Tires, and the Paraglider. Other changes included in the update were made to the gameplay experience.

Last month, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe added in Nintendo Labo support with the Toy-Con Motorbike. Nintendo producer Shinya Takahashi revealed just last week that further updates for the top-selling kart racer were coming without saying specifics. With Mario Kart 8 Deluxe selling north of 9 million copies to date, more content is sure to come in the future.
