Taiko Drum Master

A rating has surfaced on the Australian Classification Board for Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘N’ Fun for Nintendo Switch that was issued on 15th June. This may be the localised name for Taiko no Tatsujin: Nintendo Switch Version that has been currently announced for Japan and Southeast Asia exclusively for Switch.

No localisation announcement has been made yet for Taiko no Tatsujin: Nintendo Switch Version by Bandai Namco however this would be significant if so. The only Taiko no Tatsujin to release in the West is one entry on PS2 called Taiko Drum Master in North America only (albeit with many replaced tracks). Furthermore, no Taiko no Tatsujin games have ever released officially elsewhere outside of Asia meaning this would be the first official Western release of a Taiko game for many territories.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Nintendo Switch Version will release in Japan for Switch on 19th July. Additionally a Southeast Asian version will launch on 9th August with English subtitles as a day-one patch.
