Path of Exile: Incursion

Grinding Gear Games is excited to announce the launch of the Path of Exile: Incursion expansion on PC. The Xbox One version will be available next week according to the press release. This latest expansion to Path of Exile takes players over a millennium into the past, back to the long since dead Vaal Empire. The explorer, Alva Valai needs your help to locate the lost temple of Atzoatl to seek out its incredible treasures.

Path of Exile: Incursion

Path of Exile originally launched on PC in October of 2013, and was named GameSpot’s PC Game of the Year. It is one of the biggest online action RPG games, and continues to see its audience grow. Since August of 2017, the player base has more than doubled as a result of the game’s arrival on Xbox One and its release in China. Last year’s expansion, Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath, saw 3.5 million people play it. Game Informer Magazine named that expansion one of the 50 best games of 2017. Grinding Gear Games’ managing director, Chris Wilson, had the following to say about the game:

“Incursion is Path of Exile’s largest league yet, with more content than we have put into some expansions in the past. Playtesting Incursion is the most fun we’ve had in Path of Exile yet, so we can’t wait to see what the community thinks.”

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
