Idea Factory have announced in this week’s Weekly Famitsu that they will be shifting the focus of their otome game lineup to Nintendo Switch starting from September 2018 and have announced several new titles both original and ports. Let’s go through the announcements.

First up is a port of Hakuoki Shinkai: Fuukaden, which originally released on the PS4 last year. It is a double pack release that contains Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds and Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms which have been localised for PS Vita and PC (Steam). The Switch version will be releasing in Japan on 6th September in both standard and limited editions. The standard edition will release for 6,800 yen while the limited edition will sell for 8,800 yen.

Secondly, Code: Realize ~Bouquet of Rainbows~ has been announced for Switch. It too is a compilation pack that released on PS4 last year in Japan. The title contains the PS Vita visual novels Code: Realize ~Guardians of Rebirth~ and Code: Realize ~Future Blessings~. The PS4 and Vita titles have been localised by Aksys Games. The Switch port will launch on 13th September in both standard and limited editions. The standard edition will release for 6,800 yen while the limited edition will sell for 8,800 yen.

Now onto the Japanese exclusive titles. First up is what appears to be another compliation pack, this time titled Nil Admirari no Tenbin: Irodori Nadeshiko. It will launch for Switch in Japan in both standard and limited editions. The standard edition will be sold for 6,300 yen while the limited edition will be sold for 8,800 yen.

Finally, it was been announced that the upcoming otome title Cendrillon palikA will be releasing in Japan for the Switch, however it is possible that it will no longer be releasing on PS Vita, the platform it was originally announced for. The official website lists the platforms as “To Be Announced.” It will launch in 2018 in Japan in both standard and limited editions. The standard edition will be sold for 6,300 yen while the limited edition will be sold for 8,800 yen.
