Punch Line

PQube games has announced that visual novel Punch Line is coming west. It was created by the people behind the Zero Escape Trilogy and written by Kotaro Uchikoshi. Punch Line is based on the anime (which is now on Crunchyroll). Now that the visual novel is coming west, it will make its way onto PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita later this summer in both North America and Europe. You can find out more about Punch Line at the PQube official website, or preorder it here.

Here is the announcement trailer:

The story follows a high school kid named Yūta Iridatsu who looks quite normal. However, appearances can be deceiving, as he faints if he sees the girls’ panties and gets too excited! One day his life takes another bizarre turn when he’s minding his own business riding the bus, when suddenly he finds himself in the middle of a hijacking situation! During this time he meets Strange Juice, a famed vigilante crime fighter. At this point, yet another strange thing happens! Yūta gets stuck in a ghostly spirit form, as his soul has somehow separated from his body! You’d think this form would make it so much easier for him sneak around unseen to enjoy the sight of panties without consequence, but unfortunately the craziness of his day does not end here.

As it turns out, seeing too many panties in this ghost form has far worse consequences! When Yūta sees too many panties in this form, he still gets too excited and faints, but now it somehow also causes a meteor to smash into the Earth, eradicating all life! Luckily, he is somehow able to travel back in time before the Earth is destroyed. Now it’s time for him to figure out what on Earth is going on! How did he become a ghost, travel through time, and nearly destroy the world just by seeing panties!? He has quite a mystery to solve!

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
