Bandai Namco has just confirmed that Dark Souls: Remastered for Nintendo Switch, as well as the Solaire amiibo, will be moving from their original May 25th, 2018 release date to later this summer. No specific date has been announced at this time, we only know that it will be this summer. Bandai Namco says that these additional months will give the development team the time they need to be sure that Nintendo Switch players will truly appreciate the Dark Souls experience anywhere at anytime thanks to how portable the Switch console is.

The PS4, Xbox One and Steam versions of Dark Souls: Remastered are still set to be released on May 25th 2018. Only the Nintendo Switch port has been delayed.
