Today, MangaGamer announced the release for The House in Fata Morgana -A Requiem for Innocence-. A gothic visual novel, it is a new side-story to the original story. The story stars a young girl, “the daughter of God” who waits kneeling at the chopping block. Her blood is said to have miraculous healing powers and she was worshipped in her home village, hence her title. Before she can be executed by the lord of the land however, a young man rescues her from certain doom.
As such, her first “happy” chapter in life begins, only to spiral into a tragedy that would span nearly a millennium. The visual novel itself is developed by Novectacle. The regular edition is priced at $14.95 with the deluxe sitting at $23.95. It has operating system support from Windows XP to current. Release date is May 17th, this year, releasing on both MangaGamer and Steam. (Note, the press release says 2016, but Steam shows it will be 2018.)
