Original story: Sega has accidentally outed a forthcoming Sega Genesis Collection for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launching May 29th. It appears to be a direct port of the 2009 compilation first released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Steam. The trailer, originally uploaded and pulled from YouTube, was preserved by Twitter user Sonic the Hedgeblog. Logos at the end of the trailer omit any mention of a Nintendo Switch version.

The updated collection promises fifty titles from the Sega Genesis, including obvious candidates like Sonic the Hedgehog and ToeJam & Earl. Other inclusions will be Phantasy Star II, Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom, Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium, Sonic CD, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, and Wonder Boy in Monster World. Stay tuned for updates on this collection, including an official trailer upload from Sega itself, in the coming days.
