Visual novel Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms just got a new gameplay trailer released by Idea Factory International. A few screenshots have also been revealed, giving a view about new characters Heisuke Toudou and Susumu Yamazaki. While Heisuke is described as a young an idealist captain, he can display determination to carry the legacy of the now declining police force of Shinsengumi. Susumu is a skillful and shy medic ninja who cannot leave the house alone since she is Hijikata’s page.

Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms will be available for PS Vita on March 13 in North America and March 16 in Europe, and for PC this spring. It is the direct sequel to Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds. The game features 30 different endings and lets you choose among 12 different bachelors to live out your romance with.
