Episode 12: Parties, Fireworks, and Reunions

Welcome back to another episode of Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash!

When we last left off Big Sis Ryōki had shown up and tried her hand at PBS. This time we take her on.

However, that’s not the only development. Party girl Renka show us with her sisters in tow to really turn up the heat as they pursue a familiar looking girl.

The fireworks fly and more boxes catch fire in today’s episode of Peach Beach Splash!

Additional Thoughts and Notes

Renka’s here! Great, now we can give her and her sisters some much-needed character development!

Sadly, as the P-1 Climax continues, I find my apathy for this game growing. It feels like Estival Versus 1.5 in terms of plot. While it is paying off on some hanging plot threads, I still think this team and these writers can do better. Which, is what bothers me the most in terms of story. Then again, maybe I’m just expecting too much from PBS to start with.

Still, actually getting some pay off for the Mikagura sister’s search is one of the things I’m glad they did. On the flip side, really Boss? You’re trying to give Asuka your losses? I’m gonna file that decision up to hunger and just ignore it. Along with the fact we have yet another box mission.

At least next time there is a rainbow colored bright spot lying in wait for us.
