Not too long ago, I got the opportunity to review hard boiled sci-fi tower defense, Let Them Come. It met and exceeded my expectations, with frenetic action, pumping music, hideous aliens and lots of challenge. I rather enjoyed it on Steam. Well, if you were curious about Let Them Come and wanted it on other consoles, you’re in luck, at least if you prefer Sony. Today it’s available on PlayStation 4, and Tuatara Games has a great game here. I recommend giving it a try, especially since it’s only $7.99. You can read all the details in the press release below.
Pixel-Style Survival Mode Shooter Blitzes The Alien Onslaught In Glorious Over The Top Destruction
BALTIMORE, MD – December 5th, 2017 – Independent video game publisher Versus Evil, in partnership with independent developer Tuatara Games, have announced that pixel-style shoot em up, Let Them Come, is now available on PlayStation 4 with a mobile version arriving in the New Year. The PlayStation 4 release follows on from a critically well received launch on PC and Xbox One. Players assume the role of Rock Gunar, an interstellar, cigar chewing mercenary gun for hire with alien blood on his hands. Twitchy trigger fingers and focused battle tactics are the order of the day as players take on the ultimate survival mode challenge to wipe out every attacking alien onslaught one wave at a time!
“Let Them Come is a fast paced arcade styled shooter with a visual punch that’s colorfully saturated with a 16 bit pixel art style and nod to 80’s Sci-fi,” commented Versus Evil General Manager, Steve Escalante.
Employed by Infini Corp to destroy the alien hordes that threaten to wipe out human existence Rock Gunar is humanity’s only hope as he faces wave upon wave of aliens, of all different kinds. Quick target acquisition, a solid arsenal of weapons and sheer brute tactics are essential to making it to the next wave of alien attackers. The action is fast, chaotic and relentless and all presented in a gloriously over the top palette of 16 bit gore.
Twitch integrated features also allow viewer participation in the onslaught against streamers. Participants can choose which alien creatures to spawn, name them and get rewards if their alien is the one that takes the streamer down!
Let Them Come will launch on on PlayStation 4 for $7.99. The game is also currently available on PC for $4.99 via Steam and $7.99 on Xbox One.
