Episode 04: The Hunk With the Water Gun

Welcome back to more Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash!

Today we start the Hebijo Arc! The life of a shinobi is never easy, but poor Miyabi may have one of the hardest jobs in the world of Senran Kagura. Keeping her group of elites on task and away from each other’s throats.

Thier teacher, Rin, is masquerading as “Miss R”. Imu is obsessing over her leaving Murasaki feeling neglected. Ryōbi is as snarky as can be. And Ryōna is… well… Ryōna.

Facing death every day is a tough job for any shinobi. But at least Miyabi’s hours are flexible and she’s got a great dental plan.

Additional Thoughts and Notes

So it’s time for Hebijo, or “New Hebijo” as I call them. If you’re curious as to why it’s mainly to differentiate if I’m talking about Miyabi’s group or Homura’s group from Senran Kagura Burst. I realize here Homura’s group is the Crimson Squad, but, old habits die hard.

My own naming conventions aside, like I mention, I really do like Miyabi’s group. It really is the most diverse and chaotic out of the four schools and it shows. No one is on the same page here and the group feels like it’ll implode at any point. But that’s what makes them fun, you never know what’s going to happen. Plus there’s Ryōna.

Also, I really would like to see Miyabi in a secret agent costume. While I’m fond on the maid costume from Estival Versus I think she could pull off a suave look very easily. Also, kudos if you got the Spy Hard reference in the description. XD
