Episode 03: Momi Momi Memories

Welcome back to more Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash!

This week we run through the second half of Story Mode’s Hanzō Arc. Last time we learned that Ikaruga didn’t want to graduate and leave her friends behind. While understandable, her inability to communicate this causes a rift between her and Katsuragi. As things continue to escalate, help from another world appears in the form of… Kagura & Naraku?

While patching things up is important, we also still need to do our best to win the P-1 Grand Prix. The other teams though aren’t just going to let us splash our way to victory though. It’s going to take a lot of dodging, spraying, and many many minigun rounds before we can make it to the final boss. Something that apparently even a Galatic Hero can’t contend with.

Additional Thoughts and Notes

Well, that was one for the books. I’m still amazed how well I did during this. Though I’m sure many of you PBS veterans were wincing at times. ^^;

Like I said, gameplaywise I’m pretty happy with the difficulty balance. I apologize if it did get a little repetitive with using the minigun all the time, but that’s my style. Stand back and soak the enemy from a distance with superior waterpower. Also, the Momi Momi Machine while kinda fun, still could have been a bit better I think. But to each their own, right?

In regards to storyline, I did like it overall. However, I just hope they pay off all this build up regarding Katsuragi and Ikaruga graduating. These girls deserve that kind of development and you could tell some awesome stories I think. Will it happen? Only time will tell.
