Nintendo Switch

Just in time for the upcoming release of Super Mario Odyssey, Nintendo has released the long-awaited video capture feature for the Switch. By simply holding down the capture button, you can save your last 30 seconds of gameplay. You can trim the clip as well as share it on both Facebook and Twitter. You’ll also be able to sort your video clips from your screenshots, and save them to an Micro SD card. Unfortunately, the feature will currently only work in certain titles, with only four games compatible as of this article: ARMS, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Luckily, according to Amelia N. on the Switch News channel, many more games will be available in the future. Thanks to the official Japanese Super Mario Odyssey Twitter page, we know Mario’s latest adventure will be compatible with the new Switch feature as well. Check on the trailer below to see the Switch video capture in action.
