SEATTLE – October 10, 2017 – Materia Collective is pleased to present a massive collection of chiptunes that will satiate any 8-bit music craving with Tiny Barbarian DX: The Ultimate Chiptune Collection, compiling all four episodes of the retro action platformer plus additional bonus tracks that have never been heard before. Composer and performer Jeff Ball (Monkey Island 2: Special Edition, Steven Universe, Mass Effect 3) has infused the Tiny Barbarian DXsoundtracks with driving beats and catchy melodies, with each episode sporting its own unique soundscape. The compilation album features over three hours of music and is available now wherever digital music is sold:
“Tiny Barbarian DX was the first time I tackled a large scale chiptune soundtrack,” noted Ball. “It was a rush to channel all the nostalgia from old NES games like Mega Man and Castlevania into a project like this.”
