In the latest Nihonbungeisha’s Weekly Manga Goraku, it was announced that Gekiman! Mazinger Z Hen will continue in 2018. The manga originally released in 2014 was ended after five volumes in 2016. What makes this manga interesting was that it focused on the creation of the Mazinger Z series and what was going on during Nagai’s life at the time.
There are also Gekiman! manga for some of Nagai’s other works such as Cutey Honey or Devilman. Both of these were launched in the same magazine as Gekiman! Mazinger Z Hen
