Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online | Key Art

During the Sword Art Online panel at the Dengeki Autumn Festival 2017, another new anime was announced for the series in addition to the 3rd season announcement. The new anime is titled Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online and will adapt the light novels of the same name.

The cast for the anime is as follows:

  • Tomori Kusunoki as LLENN
  • Yoko Hikasa as Pitohui
  • Kazuyuki Okitsu as M
  • Chinatsu Akasaki as Fukaziroh

The Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online light novels are written by Sigsawa Keiichi and illustrated by Kuroboshi Kouhaku and supervised by Reki Kawahara. There are currently 5 volumes out for the light novel.

No other information has been released for the anime adaptation at this time.
