The September Nintendo Direct closed out with five minutes of Super Mario Odyssey, offering a bevy of details announced for the hot ticket Switch game launching October 27th.

The two kingdoms in question are the Snow Kingdom with the Shiveria area and the Seaside Kingdom with Bubblaine. The ship Mario travels to get to these and more kingdoms is officially named the “Odyssey” after the game’s title. The ship is powered by the Green Moons he collects, similar to past 3D game’s Stars. If you call upon the services of Uncle Amiibo (yes, really) in the game, it’ll help you uncover hidden Moons you’re having trouble with. Each kingdom has differing requirements for Moons to access them.

Speaking of amiibo, the trailer for Odyssey covered what the game’s tie-in line will unlock. Each wedding-themed figure, Mario, Peach, and Bowser, unlocks their respective wedding outfit and a special feature. Mario grants temporary invincibility, Peach offers a Life-Up Heart, and Bowser reveals regional coin locations.

The final major new addition to the game is a photo mode, something becoming increasingly popular in other games and now part of a Nintendo-developed title. Photos can be edited with a swath of filters and camera controls, in traditional widescreen or mobile phone formats, to be posted on social media.

For new Switch buyers, Super Mario Odyssey will be available in a console bundle on October 27th. For $379.99, it includes a special carry case and two Mario red Joy-Con controllers. The game itself will be included as a digital code.

For those who don’t want to pony up for an extra Switch but like the accoutrements, the Joy-Cons and carry case will be available separately, also on October 27th.
