Drive Girls (developed by the popular Tamsoft) cruised onto PlayStation Vita today in North America. The game is an “action, driving, hack ‘n’ slash hybrid”, and is available in both physical and digital formats. Drive Girls sees the world overrun by an army of mechanized bugs, and this is where the Divine Girls come in. They are a group of five very special girls who have the ability to transform into souped up supercars as they try to defend their home (Sun Island).
Drive Girls features the “style and splendor” of Japan. The characters were also designed by the popular illustrator, UGUME. You can play as any of the five Divine Girls and battle in both human and supercar forms to teach your enemies a lesson. Here’s the Drive Girls trailer:
Drive Girls features a single player campaign that is quite extensive. You’ll earn money after every mission, which you can use to boost your stats and customize your ride. You can apply sleek decals or boost stats by purchasing new, better parts. You can also play with friends in local and online multiplayer for up to four players.
