Crystareino

Crystareino

Kemco put out a press release announcing that Crystareino has arrived on Nintendo 3DS in North America, Europe, and Australia. Players in these regions can get the game from the Nintendo eShop for USD 9.99 / EUR 9.99 / GBP 8.99 / AUD 13.00. In North America, the game is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB. In Europe, it is rated PEGI 12.

Crystareino does not support the 3D feature of the Nintendo 3DS, but this makes sense considering the 2D sprite graphics used in the game. Here’s the game trailer:

In Crystareino, the son of a former hero finds himself summoned into a different world along with the sacred beast Eppol. There they are stunned to be given a request to take out the Demon King. Initially, the two try to find a way back to their own world, but alas, they quickly find that going home is impossible until they defeat the troublesome Demon King. Now it’s up to you to find the answers to a host of questions:

“Why were they summoned into this world? What is the concealed mystery of the ruined kingdom…? As they go around the world and reach out to their new friends, they are faced with the lies and the truths hidden behind this quest…”

On your adventure, you can find new friends in taverns that each have their own backgrounds. If you increase your relationship with characters enough, you might see “special individual endings” according to the Official Crystareino Website. There are many skills your characters can use, some of which can only be used by the hero himself. As you progress, you’ll also eventually get the ability to change the classes of your characters.

In addition to the Crystareino Official Website, you can also find more information on the game at the Nintendo website for your region:

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
