After a successful run of CAD$225,000 on Kickstarter, Tokyo Dark is finally releasing on PC via Steam on September 7th. Published by indie-friendly Square Enix Collective and developed by Tokyo-based Cherrymochi, the game is a side-scrolling, point-and-click psychological thriller with branching paths and multiple endings.
To mark the occasion, Square Enix Collective released a new trailer for Tokyo Dark:
Tokyo Dark follows Detective Ayami Ito as she travels through a darker side of Tokyo to find her missing partner. While she collects clues and follows leads, her decisions have a direct affect on the world around her and its citizens. The game also presents multiple puzzles that can be tackled in various ways.
