BadLand Games

The Spanish video game publisher, BadLand Games, has launched its new international publishing division for indie games, BadLand Games Publishing. They’ve also opened their new BadLand Games Research Poland office in Warsaw. It’s at this very office that development on a new, as yet unannounced, game has already begun. BadLands CEO, Luis Quintans commented about these announcements:

“BadLand Games Publishing is born from the ambition to take the creativity and freshness of the new indie games to a wider audience. There are lots of newly founded studios that are breaking away with visual and playable conventions, and our goal is to help them reach a public who is avid for innovative content.”

Vostok Inc.

The first two games to go through the new BadLand Games Publishing division are Vostok Inc., and Necrocosmos. Vostok Inc. is a twin-stick, sci-fi themed shooter developed by UK developer Nosebleed Interactive. You take on the role of a greedy space capitalist with ambitions of becoming filthy rich. The game is set to launch on July 27th in digital form for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. Necrocosmos on the other hand, is a Metroidvania action game developed by Spanish development studio, Andromeda Project. The game features 8-bit aesthetics and an open-world galaxy. A Kickstarter campaign for Necrocosmos is set to begin in August of this year.

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
