After many, many years, a new trailer for Beyond Good & Evil 2 has finally been revealed. In their press conference, Ubisoft unveiled the game to audiences with a pre-rendered cinematic trailer. Events are pointing towards a prequel but it looks to keep the original setting as intact as possible. It featured new characters, a new tone, and much more. However, it seems to want to keep some of the former game’s more zany elements.
Hopefully Beyond Good & Evil 2 lives up to the first game’s reputation as a whole. The first game was critically acclaimed for its voice acting, world, characters, and writing. Perhaps it might even go back to the former premise of a large universe to explore, as that concept was scrapped in the original game. Overall, a very exciting return to a lost game!
