I Am Setsuna | temporal battle arena

Square Enix has confirmed that I am Setsuna‘s Temporal Battle Arena DLC will be available to download tomorrow, April 13th, exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version. Against the Switch port’s $40 USD price, the DLC will be free to download.

The Temporal Battle Arena functions as a sort of Player-Vs-Player mode. Herein, you’ll take your in-game party online to test their might against other parties, with victories reaping rewards. You’ll also be able to search specific player’s parties to download for battle, provided you have their player ID.

Once you have the latest patch for I am Setsuna (on Switch) and download the DLC, you’ll access it in-game via the Frozen Lands and talking to the character Togi.

Developed by Tokyo RPG Factory, the Switch port of classically-influenced RPG I am Setsuna was a launch title in North America and Europe, following its release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2016. There’s no word on whether this exclusive DLC will make its way to other platforms in the future.
