Switch Joy-Cons

Some information has come out regarding the day one update for Nintendo’s new console. It will launch right before the console’s release, and will download quickly in the background. The update will be needed to access the eShop and playing online. It will also “connect online using hotspots that require authentication, such as at a hotel or café. A web applet will open up so the user can sign-in or accept terms of use”. Also, you will be able to link your Nintendo Accounts. It was noted that if you are going to buy digital games for the Switch through Nintendo’s website, you must first connect to the eShop at least once.

The Nintendo Switch will be released on March 3.
