Square Enix has announced the sales of Final Fantasy XV. Since it’s release in November 29 of last year, the game has shipped over six million units. This also includes digital purchases.

That was not all Square Enix mentioned in the announcement. In addition to the free Holiday DLC, they are planning an update on January 24th for those that download it or the premium version. Doing so will allow players to “gain access to the “Moogle Chocobo Carnival,” a special in-game event that brings an exciting festival to the whole city of Altissia.” Currently, there is no other word on what the in-game event will entail.

There was no mention of the other update planning to add more things, such as adding more story, but you can find more information about that over here. Or if you wish to see the review of Final Fantasy XV, you can check out part 1 here, or part 2 here.
