Moékuri: Adorable & Tactical SRPG, Now Available on MangaGamer and Steam!

WILMINGTON, Del. – December 16th, 2016 – It’s adorable! It’s tactical! It’s Moékuri! Culture Select, an up-and-coming localization & publishing start-up, is thrilled to announce the English digital release of Moékuri: Adorable & Tactical SRPG on MangaGamer and Steam, for Windows PC! Originally developed by Japanese indie studio MokyuSoft, Moékuri is a no-holds barred strategy RPG combining deep tactical gameplay, anime inspired storytelling, and an intense appreciation for the “adorable cuteness” known as Japanese “moé”.

About Moékuri

In a world where “Creatures”, powerful beings of myth and legend, inhabit the land, girls with the ability to wield magic become “Masters”—summoners able to harness the power of Creatures to their command. Iruse Strenz is one such Master, a girl working hard to protect her village ever since the mysterious disappearance of her mother. The only clue to her whereabouts is a magical grimoire known as “Nursery Rhyme”—a tome full of mysterious symbols that no one in the village can even begin to decipher.

Together with her best friend Nika, Iruse spends day after day training her magic, but her mother is never far from her thoughts. One fateful day, a strange phenomenon occurs near the village which soon threatens everything that Iruse holds dear. Yet in the midst of it all, a path opens to the answers that she seeks…

The international edition of Moékuri was brought to life through the efforts of a determined community of backers in a September 2016 Kickstarter campaign that raised over $12,000 in donations. The successful Kickstarter also hit stretch goals for the creation of a new physical edition of the game for backers, and two additional story scenarios which are slated to be released in 2017. Fervent backer support has been an integral part of this project, and Culture Select will work together hand-in-hand with the community as Moékuri continues to bloom!

Moékuri is now available on MangaGamer.com for $11.95, and Steam for $11.99, for Windows PC. For the two weeks following launch, enjoy a -20% discount (MangaGamer: $9.56, Steam: $9.59) to celebrate the release of this adorable title!
