Soul Calibur | swords

Twenty years ago, Soul Edge was released on PlayStation. It was the beginning of  the Soul Calibur franchise, which quickly became a major fighting series on consoles. Bandai Namco has just released a trailer celebrating the anniversary ofthe series, with the tagline “The Legend Will Never Die”. No information have been communicated about a new episode or a remake of the  games, but a new website has been launched.  Bandai also announced the launching of  Pachislo Soulcalibur, the first pachinko slot game  of the series, for Japan. In 2015, Namco Bandai shut down Soul Calibur : Lost Swords servers. The game, which was single player only and featured consumable items to buy online, (aka pay 2 win) had been launched in April 2014. Let us hope this trailer announces a brighter future for the series.
