Final Fantasy XV Altissa 4

Final Fantasy XV has finally gone gold. For those unaware of what that means, the code and development of the game has been completed. This will allow for the game to be sent to be manufacturers in time for release.

Following this news, Square Enix released the “Omen” trailer. The video is done by DIGIC Pictures, who have also worked on Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV CGI movie.

In addition to this news, Square Enix has announced that all development will shift towards creating content for the Season Pass. The DLC will take place during the events of the game, where players can take control of Noctis’ three comrades, one for each episode. This will also open the way to new areas. The DLC can be purchased individually too.

An expansion pack is also in the works, bringing a new online co-op more for up to four players, each able to control one of the main party members against tough foes.

Final Fantasy XV will launch on November 29, 2016 on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
