The US voice aren’t really bad don’t know why people are having a fit over voices now. Especially if it create jobs for the people. Heard both and for the third time I prefer the English dubbed. Persona characters in Japanese dub doesn’t work for me for some reason. Especially persona 4 JP voice. Duel audio would be great for the masses but I can see why its not included since Japanese voice actors/actresses are a more higher cost for royalties.

    • Panpopo

I must have have missed the boat – most atlus games are dubbed only. Has no one played Persona 3 & 4? Those dubs were really good. Atlus dubs tend to be fine – not like it’s dynasty warriors or something.

I understand wanting more choices – more choices are always good and I can see when people can be unhappy. But I don’t see a need for being too militant about it.

    • DizzyGear

People are just getting sick of Atlus being pretty much the only one left who screws up games by consistently ripping out the Japaense voices in favor of their mediocre to horrible English dubs because their too fucking lazy to program in a toggle to switch between audio tracks and obviously don’t give a fuck the costumer.
They deserve all the flack they get for this bullshit practice.

    • Miles

I’m pretty surprise to what you comment here. Why do you not like Atlus course of action? I honestly like the way Atlus been working. They haven’t change since Persona 2 on the PS1, so I’m curious to hear why. Honestly if they don’t give a damn on their western audiences, they wouldn’t bother announcing it for a US release and same goes to other Japanese company. Meaning no more games. Pretty sure most of the Japanese audience are happy with their games and their censored US/PAL games their. They just don’t care for the most part and enjoyed the game for being a game as they too are costumers.

    • DizzyGear

They don’t give a fuck about their costumers because people have been asking for dual audio in their games for god knows how long but they just keeping shoving their shitty English dubs in our faces and sometimes even openly mock people for asking for dual audio.

And please don’t give me the licensing bullshit excuse Atlus shills love to throw around. Conceptions 2’s PC release with dual audio pretty much invalidates that excuse and the whole reason that game was dub only on Vita and 3DS was 100% Atlus being too damn cheap and lazy.

I’m sorry but I don’t understand what the hell you are trying to say. Please try to explain it to me without a bias rant. Also try not to sound so entitled to everything from that is what impression you give me. Sadly there is alot of people I encounter here.

As I said to Panpopo I like the voice actor and understand to why they did what they did. You can make all the accusation all you want but if you don’t work for any of the JP game company then I will have to take your word as speculation and not as truth. Only as a rant when not getting what you want. Then again so is mine but they haven’t done any wrong with me so far. As I comment earlier I like the English over the Japanese voices. Far superior in my opinion. You can iso the JP voice if you want as long as it doesnt destroy your system. Or better yet, rather than yapping your mouth off and doing nothing you could always speak with your wallet.

lol So you’re those kind of gamers; Same at the others I see. Wanted an answer but getting the typical insult is what I foresee. I’ll leave it at that. Well do as you please. As long as it doesn’t affect my enjoyment of gaming.

    • Miles

There was a bug in Catherine? I never had that problem. Beat the game four times before it never occur to me. I have the PS3 version by the way so there it might be a version differences.

    • Miles

Lol The boat is still there if they’re willing to play them again. (Currently am, alongside with other older games). Yeah Atlus usually have good choice in voice actors/actresses. I notice a trend of wanting to hate for the sake of hating. Or I would like to say the hipster-effect. Choices is always good. Please alot of people that way. We gamers just got to understand that it is not always in their hand to give us that option.

    • Miles

Lol by the way I like Dynasty/Samurai Warriors voice acting. They are so bad that they are great. Guilty pleasure of mine.

I recognize some of them, like the ones that were voice actors for Love Live! Neat.

  • DizzyGear

Atlus can hype up the English voice actors all they want but if the game does not have the Original Japanese voices included I will pirate an undubbed PS3 iso instead.
