summer lessons

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia have announced that their PS VR exclusive title Summer Lesson will be getting an English Asian release in the Southeast Asia region.

The game will feature the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. It will be available in early 2017 exclusively via the PlayStation Network. No other details have been given yet.

It’s worth noting that considering what the game’s director had to say about the likelihood of a Western release, this is probably the closest we’re going to get to one.

Additionally, Bandai Namco also released a trailer. It is an officially translated version of the one used for the Japanese release. You can watch the trailer below.

That’s great news. It will be a bit of a hassle creating an Asia account just for it, but at least the alternative is there. I still hold hope that it will be released over here, given the Western demo at PSX.
